FcallBox3 Server

The WebRadio uses the MPD and MPC (Music Player Daemon) softwares, the official site can be found here.

It can be controled with the Radio or Infrared Remote control and its dedicated keys.

INSTALLATION

NOTE : if you have installed the Fcallbox with the automatic script described here
You can go to the CONFIGURATION step

To install, connect on the a box in ssh and type :

apt-get install mpd mpc

It may be needed to install a "patch" to avoid some crashes, see : here
Still in ssh, type the lines following and wait :

sudo apt-get install git-core binutils
sudo BRANCH=fiq_split rpi-update

Edit the file /etc/mpd.conf and comment the line :

   format “44100:16:2″ # optionals
   qui devient :
   #format “44100:16:2″ # optional

Restart MPC :

sudo /etc/init.d/mpd restart

CONFIGURATION

The Radio configuration is done with the WEB interface accessible at the local IP of the Remote box or that of your Internet box (Public address)

After logging, goto the WebRadio menu :

To create a new radio, write the Radio name which will be shown on the TV in the box Radio name :

Then the HTML link :

And the logo name file :

Then click on Submit :

To terminate, upload the logo file which must not exceed 480 x 100 size :

To insert a new radio above the current line, click on :

To delete the radio at the current line :

USER GUIDE

Power the monitor TV with the remote control with the power key :

Goto to the Radio menu with the left or right keys (The radio is in pause mode) :

Select the Radio with ch+ or ch- keys (The radio exits from pause mode) :

Change the volume with vol+ or vol- keys :
